These original Native American style flute compositions, written, performed and produced by Jon Sherman, are a celebration of seven bird species found within the natural community of the oak woodlands of California. Though this habitat, in terms of bird richness, is among the most important in North America, it is also one of most threatened. May these songs, which include the authentic vocalizations inspire communion with the oak woodland community and its circle of life.
